Feel Good Lamington Shake
What's great about it
This Lamington shake has everything you need to maintain your energy and wellbeing. High in protein and essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and heart-healthy fats.
1 banana, frozen
2 cups coconut water or almond milk
1 tablespoon cashew butter or almond butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of nutmeg
2 heaped tablespoons Healthy Chef Protein
1 cup ice
2 tablespoons melted dark chocolate (I used 85% Lindt chocolate)
1 tablespoon desiccated coconut to garnish the glass
dates or stevia to sweeten.
cold filter coffee or almond milk (to replace the coconut water)
COMBINE banana, coconut water, Healthy Chef Protein and ice.
ADD any optional extras.
BLEND until smooth and creamy. The shake should look like soft serve ice cream, especially if using frozen bananas.
DIP the serving glasses into melted chocolate followed by the coconut to decorate the glass. Spoon a little melted chocolate into each glass and spread around the sides.
POUR the shake into glasses.
SERVE and enjoy.
Notes and Inspiration
You can also make naked chocolate tahini in place of the melted chocolate by mixing 2 tablespoons tahini, 2 tablespoons coconut oil, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder or Healthy Chef Naked Chocolate, 2 tablespoons hot water and 1 teaspoon maple syrup.
