The 6 Key Steps To Weight Management

In order to feel great, manage weight and boost overall wellbeing, you need to take care of yourself. That’s why I’ve created these 6 key steps as a part of my Nourishing Weight Management Diet to show you how simple changes to your daily routine can completely transform the way you feel each and every day. Through maintaining a low carb, Mediterranean diet, exercising regularly, achieving adequate sleep and introducing stress reduction techniques to your routine, you are sure to feel the best version of yourself. 

01 ENJOY 

one shake a day using your choice of Healthy Chef Protein. Combine one serve of protein into a blender bottle and shake with water or almond milk, or alternatively blend with fresh strawberries + almond milk to make a nourishing low carb smoothie. 

Studies show that a high intake of protein can assist with weight loss, promote lean muscle and improve the metabolism, so it’s important to make sure you’re consuming quality sources of protein. 

02 REMOVE

gluten, alcohol, starchy carbs and refined sugars. These are known to inflame the body, so by removing them you’re allowing your gut to heal and restore. Replacing your morning coffee with Healthy Chef Green Tea or Matcha Tea is a great way to get the energy boost you need while also assisting to boost metabolism and increase fat burning.

03 EAT

a low carb / Mediterranean diet rich in antioxidants, protein + healthy fats. Consuming between 80-120g of protein per day is optimal for helping to regulate the appetite and support weight loss. 

04 DRINK

two litres of filtered water a day. Up to 60% of the human adult body is made up of water. By consuming enough water each day, you’re ensuring your body functions the way it is designed to. 


Consuming green teas such as Healthy Chef Green Tea, Green Goddess and Matcha Green Tea are a wonderful way to fill your body with antioxidants while boosting metabolism, supporting digestion + helping you to stay energised.

05 EXERCISE

your body for 60 minutes every day. Do something you love and have fun. Regular exercise helps to make you happy, support weight management, boosts your immune system + helps you sleep better.  

06 SLEEP

at least 7 hours every night to allow your body to repair and recharge. There’s a reason they call it ‘beauty sleep’ and if you want to manage your weight, you need to make sleep a priority. 


Studies show that getting less than 7 hours of sleep each night can lead to weight gain and obesity as well as heart, immune and mental health. This is why it is recommended to achieve at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep each night.

Getting into the healthiest shape of your life can be as simple as a few lifestyle changes to provide your body with the support it needs to promote optimal health. These 6 steps are designed to make up the fundamentals of your daily routine, to not only assist you along your weight management journey, but make you feel amazing every day too.
