High protein water FAQs
What is high protein water?
It's a protein powder you mix with cold water for a light, fruity drink instead of a creamy shake. Ours gives you 20g of protein per serve from grass-fed bovine collagen, with no added sugar.
How much protein is in one serve?
Every serve provides 20g of protein. Body Fit and Glow Up are 25g serves with 24 serves per 600g tub. Pure Biome is a 24g serve with 25 serves per tub.
Is protein water better than a protein shake?
Neither suits everyone. Protein water is lighter and more refreshing, while a shake is creamier and more filling. For smoothies and baking, try our Organic Pea Protein or Pure Native Whey.
Is collagen protein water a complete protein?
No. Collagen is naturally low in the essential amino acid tryptophan, so it isn't a complete protein on its own. It still counts toward your daily protein intake and works well alongside a varied diet with other protein foods.
Is protein water good for you?
Protein is necessary for tissue building and repair, and protein water is a simple way to add 20g to your day if creamy shakes aren't your thing. It works best as part of a balanced diet, not as a meal replacement.
Is protein water high in sugar?
Ours has no added sugar. It's sweetened with organic steviol glycosides and flavoured with natural flavours.
Is it okay to have protein water every day?
For most healthy adults, yes, at the recommended serve and alongside a balanced diet. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 or managing a health condition, check with your doctor or dietitian first.
Is it gluten free and vegan?
All three flavours are free from gluten and dairy. They're made with bovine collagen, so they aren't vegan or vegetarian. For a vegan option, choose our Organic Pea Protein.
How do I mix protein water without clumps?
Add the cold water first, then the powder, and shake well in a blender bottle for 15 to 20 seconds.
How much does protein water cost per serve?
Each 600g tub ($73.95 RRP) makes 24 to 25 serves, which works out to about $3 per serve.
