Protein + Oatmeal Pancakes

These delicious pancakes are high in protein and essential amino acids to sustain lean muscle and nourish a healthy immune system. They are simply made with organic oats, biodynamic eggs, plant-based milk and a serve of Healthy Chef Protein. Delicious drizzled with a little  maple and a squeeze of fresh lemon. 

 

I've used Organic Pea Protein in this recipe, which makes them light and fluffy.  It's also wonderful or people suffering from sensitive digestion, this gentle formula is gluten-free, dairy-free, and low FODMAP.  

Protein + Oatmeal Pancakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 cup rolled oats

357 ml almond milk

2 organic eggs 

2 tablespoons Organic Pea Protein

2 teaspoons gluten free baking powder

berries and maple to serve

METHOD

SOAK the oats and almond milk overnight in the fridge.

ADD the eggs, Healthy Chef Organic Pea Protein, baking powder and mix to combine. (You can also use Healthy Chef Pure Native WPI if you prefer.

HEAT a non-stick pan over a low heat with a little olive oil and spoon in the pancake mix, 2 tablespoons of mix per pancake. 

COOK over a low heat so that it cooks through. 

FLIP over and cook the other side. 

SERVE and devour.
