Collagen-Boosting Hot Chocolate

What's great about it
This time of year I start craving hot chocolate. Something warm, sweet and nourishing that's healthy and not going to start turning me into a marshmallow during winter. When drinking hot chocolate, it’s best to drink out of a large mug or bowl because your senses pick up every aroma coming out from the steaming hot milk – The taste and smell of vanilla bean, cinnamon and cacao nourish your soul and warm the body. Enjoy!
1 1/2 cups milk - your choice of almond, coconut, or organic brown rice milk
1 cup (250 ml ) water
1 heaped tablespoon Healthy Chef Naked Chocolat
1 heaped tablespoon Healthy Chef Marine Collagen
pinch of ground cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
1 tablespoon macadamia butter (optional)
1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
pinch sea salt
Notes and Inspiration
Add a pinch of ground ginger when adding the cinnamon.
Add 1 teaspoon Matcha Green Tea or maca powder.
