These Protein Oat Bar Recipe are The Perfect on-the-go Breakfast! 

Packed with goodness, they’re made with wholesome ingredients like rolled oats, Healthy Chef Organic Pea Protein, and a touch of cinnamon. Naturally sweetened with banana and maple syrup, these bars are dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and rich in both protein and fibre to fuel you over the day. Plus, with a boost of healthy fats from macadamia oil, they’re as satisfying as they are nourishing. Add a drizzle of rich dark chocolate for a little indulgence — or keep it simple!

Protein Oat Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS

Makes 10-12 bars

250 g (2 ½ cups) rolled oats

2 tablespoons Healthy Chef Protein - Pure Native WPI or Organic Pea Protein

¼ teaspoon bicarb soda

¼ teaspoon flaked sea salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 banana, smashed

60 ml maple syrup

60 ml macadamia nut oil or light olive oil

100g dark chocolate 70% - 85%, melted, optional

METHOD

PREHEAT your oven to 170°C fan forced.

BLEND half the oats to make oat flour, then combine with the rest of the rolled oats, protein powder, bicarb, salt and cinnamon into a bowl.

ADD the banana, vanilla, maple and oil and mix through until combined.

PAT DOWN into a small baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until golden.

COOL COMPLETELY, then cut into 9 – 12 portions. Drizzle with melted chocolate and allow it to set in the fridge for 5 minutes.
