My Salted Caramel Protein Smoothie is a powerhouse of goodness and made with Healthy Chef Pure Native WPI protein. This smoothie is the perfect post workout meal or delicious snack. It tastes just like ice cream, but it’s good for you. This smoothie is high in protein, is gluten-free, gut friendly and free from refined sugars.

Healthy Chef Pure Native WPI helps support lean, toned muscle and exercise recovery, giving you all-day energy. This smoothie makes for a great post-workout drink or a nutritious meal replacement. I also love to add a spoonful of Healthy Chef Collagen Coffee, which pairs wonderfully with the banana, as well as providing chromium, that helps to support blood sugar.

Ingredients

Serves 1

 

1 frozen banana, chopped

2 tablespoons Healthy Chef Pure Native WPI - Vanilla

1/2 cup ice

1 cup almond milk

1 heaped teaspoon almond butter

pinch of salt, optional

1-2 fresh pitted dates, optional

Method

COMBINE all the ingredients into a Vitamix.

BLEND until smooth and creamy using the tamper. 

ADD a splash of water if needed for consistency.

POUR into a large glass and enjoy.

ADD extras such as Healthy Chef Collagen Coffee for a collagen, caffeine  and chromium boost.
