Each serving of this wholesome breakfast packs over 25g of protein and the Matcha Tea provides slow-releasing caffeine, leaving you feeling sustained, energised, and ready to take on the day. It’s the perfect balance of nourishment and indulgence.

INGREDIENTS

Serves 2 

FOR THE OATS 

1 cup rolled oats 

4 tablespoons Healthy Chef Protein - Pure Native WPI or Organic Pea Protein 

1 - 1.5 cups milk of choice 

1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Matcha Tea  

2 tablespoons chia seeds, optional, for added fibre 

FOR THE STRAWBERRIES 

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced 

1 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup 

A few sprigs of fresh mint, chopped 

TO GARNISH 

150 - 200 mL natural Greek yoghurt  

fresh mint, optional  

METHOD 

THE NIGHT BEFORE, combine oats, protein, matcha tea and chia seeds (if using) in a mixing bowl.  

ADD your milk of choice and mix until all combined. 

COVER and let sit in the fridge overnight to absorb. This process will allow the oats to expand, soften and become easier for your body to digest. 

THE NEXT MORNING, combine diced strawberries, maple syrup and fresh mint together. Let sit for minimum 10 minutes to soften.   

ASSEMBLE by evenly distributing the strawberries on the the bottom of 2 serving glasses or bowls.  

LAYER with a few spoonfuls of Greek yoghurt.  

TOP with the matcha overnight oats. 

GARNISH with a dusting of matcha tea and fresh mint. Enjoy!
