Summer Berry Crunch

Summer Berry Crunch

Summer berries, cultured yoghurt and Healthy Chef Granola. A delicious breakfast that will nourish and energise your body. Rich in whole food antioxidants, protein + probiotics to support optimum health + vitality. It's perfect for people on the go and takes just minutes to make. It looks great too and I often make these when I'm having friends over for a healthy weekend brunch after a bike ride.

Berries are packed with polyphenols - an important class of phytonutrients that can help support cardiovascular health. The vitamin C in berries help to produce collagen which naturally supports healthy glowing skin. A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition found that adding strawberries to your meals slowed the insulin responses by delaying the absorption of sugars in the digestive tract. Insulin is an anabolic hormone that increases storage of fat, protein and glucose.
