What's great about it
This is one of the most yummiest super food smoothie bowls you'll ever make... It will satisfy that deep chocolate craving as well as fuel you with protein and antioxidants that will make your body glow! This is what I make when I feel like some chocolate therapy ! You can vary the thickness by adding less milk or adding more ice. Adding a little sprinkle of chocolate granola just gives it that extra crunch....you can also use a spoon of cacao nibs or roasted hazelnuts if you don't have chocolate granola on hand. I love to serve mine with raspberries or strawberries, sit back and enjoy every spoonful.
Ingredients
Serves 1
1 ripe banana - frozen
1 cup almond milk or rice milk
1 tablespoon roasted almond butter
2 tablespoons Healthy Chef Naked Chocolat Dark or Naked Chocolat Mylk
2 fresh pitted dates
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
handful ice
Berries or sliced banana to serve
Nuts and seeds to serve
Method
- Combine the banana, almond milk, almond butter, naked chocolat, dates, cinnamon and ice into a high speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Divide between 2 small serving bowls.
- Garnish with nuts seeds and fresh berries.
- Enjoy.
Notes and Inspiration
Add 1/2 teaspoon organic matcha green tea to help boost metabolism and antioxidants.
