What's great about it

Shakes and smoothies are the easiest way to provide protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that are easily absorbed into the body and help nourish your cells from the inside out. I prefer to enjoy smoothies as a complete meal and they are wonderful for maintaining your energy levels and support healthy weight management. 

This is my go to kick-start smoothie when I’m on the run and have a busy day ahead. The recipe is from my Healthy Chef App, and It’s high in protein to sustain and fuel me all morning and it tastes purely delicious. Enjoy.

Ingredients

250 ml (1 cup) chilled filter coffee

125 ml (1/2 cup) unsweetened almond milk

1 tablespoon Healthy Chef Marine Collagen

1 tablespoon Healthy Chef Pure Protein (you can use pure native WPI, Organic Pea Protein or Body Shaping Protein)

1 cup ice to blend

stevia or monk fruit sweetener to taste

EXTRAS (OPTIONAL)

1/2 banana

1 teaspoon almond butter or tahini

Method

COMBINE ingredients into a blender.

BLEND until smooth and creamy.

DRINK and enjoy.

Notes and Inspiration

Add 1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Naked Chocolat for a boost of chocolatey goodness and antioxidants.
