What's great about it
This smoothie is my anti-ageing tonic that is rich in collagen protein and restorative antioxidants. It’s an essential part of my daily morning ritual to naturally plump and hydrate my skin from the inside out. I love combining Healthy Chef Wild Caught Pure Marine Collagen to help boost my skin’s natural collagen production and support the health of my skin. This is a wonderful, light breakfast smoothie for those that want something more refreshing.
Ingredients
Serves 2
1 generous handful of baby spinach or few leaves of cos lettuce
2 whole oranges, skin peeled
1 cup coconut water
1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Matcha Green Tea
2 tablespoons Healthy Chef Marine Collagen
1 cup ice to blend
Method
COMBINE all the ingredients in a high-speed blender.
BLEND until smooth.
DIVIDE between 2 serving glasses.
DRINK and enjoy.
Notes and Inspiration
Substitute spinach with cos lettuce or 1 tablespoon of Healthy Chef Green Smoothie.
This smoothie also works beautifully with the addition of fresh pineapple or papaya in place of the orange.
It's also a wonderful smoothie that keeps really well for a few days, so you can easily make up the full recipe, divide into kilner glass jars and enjoy the follwing day.
