What's great about it
This latte is my anti-ageing tonic that is rich in collagen protein and antioxidants. Healthy Chef Marine Collagen is a rich source of collagen protein sourced from wild-caught snapper. Marine collagen is known to have the best absorption compared to other collagen sources. Collagen is the key component for radiant, healthy, glowing skin. As we age, our natural reserves of collagen are gradually depleted, resulting in a noticeable lack of skin firmness and hydration.
Ingredients
Serves 1
1 tablespoon Healthy Chef Marine Collagen
1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Matcha Green Tea
125 ml hot water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
125 ml hot almond or drinking coconut milk (unsweetened)
few drops of stevia or honey to taste
Method
Combine Healthy Chef Marine Collagen with Healthy Chef Matcha, hot water and coconut milk in a small pot.
Heat gently without boiling and mix well using the Healthy Chef Matcha Whisk or spoon until the powders have mixed through the milk.
Pour into your favourite cup or mug and sweeten to taste.
Enjoy.
Notes and Inspiration
This beautiful latte can be enjoyed hot or cold. Simply avoid heating the milk and water, just combine all the ingredients into a blender bottle with a little ice and shake. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy.
Make your own dairy free milk here: Pumpkin Seed Milk or Almond Milk.
For a creamier latte replace water with extra milk of your choice.
