This is one of my favourite metabolism-boosting smoothie bowls from my cookbook Healthy Baking - Cakes, Cookies + Raw. It's high in protein, full of antioxidants and goodness PLUS it helps keep you sustained and energised. The addition of protein will keep you fuller for longer.
Recognised as a superfood, matcha contains extremely high levels of antioxidants as well as various compounds associated with improving health and gently supporting weight loss. One serve of matcha is more potent than a regular cup of steeped green tea.
Healthy Chef Organic Cerermonial Grade Matcha provides a delicious nutrient rich energy boost before and after your workout. Matcha has been shown to increase mental alertness, and the ability to concentrate both during and after your workout.
1/2 cup frozen mango
large handful baby spinach leaves
1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha
1 generous tablespoon Healthy Chef Protein
1 teaspoon organic maple syrup or stevia
1/4 cup coconut water or water for blending
2 tablespoons natural yoghurt (your choice)
Ice to blend
Seasonal fruits and nuts to serve
