Super Greens Vitality Smoothie

What's great about it
This is one of my favourite smoothies that is featured in my cookbook Purely Delicious! Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants are more potent through wholefood consumption which is why drinking this green smoothie is the perfect way to nourish your body. The addition of wheatgrass, one of the nutritionally dense greens on earth, provides chlorophyll, beta carotene, vitamin C, B complex vitamins, amino acids, calcium, potassium and magnesium.
1/2 green apple, chopped with skin (100g)
100 g pineapple chunks
1 big handful baby spinach leaves ( 1 cup – 35 g)
100 g small cucumber – Lebanesese
1 small stick – 50 g celery, chopped
1 lime, peeled.
small sprig mint
small sprig parsley leaves
1 small slither ginger
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon Healthy Chef Matcha
1 teaspoon Green Smoothie
1/2 cup ice (optional)
- Combine all the ingredients into a good high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and green.
- Serve in 2 large glasses.
- Garnish with limes and a celery stalk.
- Enjoy and be nourished.
Notes and Inspiration
Add 1 teaspoon Healthy Chef Natural immune Support for it’s anti-inflammatory benefits.
Add coconut water in place of water.
