5 Steps To Radiant Skin

We get a lot of questions about glowing skin at Healthy Chef.  It's pretty much the reason why I designed my new Beauty Collagen and Wild Marine Collagen which have been designed exclusively to support radiant healthy skin. 

Healthy Chef Beauty Collagen has added Vitamin C, zinc, B5 and turmeric specifically targeted for skin health, repair and hydration. My personal philosophy and mantra is that “beauty starts from within”. The food you eat, what you drink, supplements you take, moving your body and how you sleep all has a profound effect on you health, your skin and how you feel.

What we eat has a direct effect on our skin and eating a healthy diet full of healthy fats, antioxidants, vitamin C, collagen, and amino acids can mean the difference between a fresh, glowing complexion and a tired, dehydrated one. This is one of the main reasons I designed Beauty Collagen.

HOW TO GET RADIANT SKIN IN 5 SIMPLE STEPS:

1 DRINK Beauty Collagen or Wild Marine Collagen as part of your morning ritual. Mix 1 tablespoon into a large glass of filtered water. Aim to drink 2 - 3 litres of water daily to support the skins production of collagen. 

2 REMOVE gluten, alcohol, refined sugars and refined starchy carbs. By reducing or eliminating these elements from your diet, you can minimise inflammatory skin responses. 

3 EAT a diet rich in quality protein, antioxidants + healthy fats. Protein builds and repairs skin tissues, antioxidants protect against free radical cell damage, while healthy fats improve the skin's moisture and elasticity. 

4 NURTURE your skin with quality sleep, between 7 - 9 hours. When we sleep, our body releases human growth hormone, a key ingredient for collagen production.

5 MOVE every day. Regular exercise is akin to a healthy workout for skin. By increasing blood flow, exercise helps to nourish skin cells and keep them vital.  Exercise will also support any saggy skin that you may start to notice, later in life.
