What's great about it
Soft clouds of pillowy yoghurt, caressed with gut loving aromatics, marine collagen and magnesium. This delicious breakfast is loaded with goodness and adds a little ray of mood-boosting sunshine to your morning.
Food plays a critical role in your mental state and the gut is a key player in the gut-brain connection and our feelings of wellbeing. Gut bacteria manufacture about 95 percent of the body's supply of serotonin, which influences both our health and how we feel. Eating anti-inflammatory foods, protein, healthy fats and probiotics will help to nourish gut bacteria and keep your digestive system smiling.
Ingredients
500 ml thick Greek style natural yoghurt (your choice)
2 tablespoons Healthy Chef Gut Collagen or Marine Collagen
2 teaspoons Healthy Chef Turmeric Latte
1 - 2 teaspoons Healthy Chef Magnesium +
bee pollen to garnish
raw honey to serve (optional)
blackberries to serve
EMBELISHMENTS (optional)
granola
papaya
kiwi fruit
Method
COMBINE yoghurt, Healthy Chef Collagen, Turmeric latte and Magnesium into a bowl and mix well.
DIVIDE between 2 bowls.
TOP with blackberries, bee pollen and a little raw honey before devouring.
ADD extras such as granola or swap out the blackberries for other fruits of your choice.
Notes and Inspiration
This also makes the most delicious smoothie. Combine ingredients (except for the blackberries, bee pollen and honey) into a blender with ice and 1 cup of water. Blend until thick and creamy. Divide between serving glasses and top with bee pollen and honey. Enjoy.
